Ffostrasol Arms, LlandysulClients: Betty & Arthur Davies
The Tafarn Ffostrasol Arms is the former Coaching Inn and famed locally for its good bar food. It is owned and run by the brother and sister team of Arthur and Betty Davies. Arthur, a local farmer has had the property for more than a decade and gave it a major makeover recently, keeping the old hostelry’s charm and character. They offer traditional favourites on the main menu for locals, at the same time catering for wedding functions, coach parties and day trippers.
RACS were asked to provide advice and a kitchen design with the caveat that the current excellent wholesome menu had to remain a continued priority. In addition, it was stressed that the need to produce a layout that catered for efficient, hygienic work practices and incorporated state of the art, good quality, energy efficient equipment was a major goal. RACS met all these objectives and produced a design that was accepted without hesitation, by Arthur and Betty, who subsequently commissioned RACS to supply and install their dream modern kitchen which allows benefits of functionality and consistency within this very busy pub for years to come.
