The RACS ‘Lunch Box’ Kiosk For Pembrokeshire Council

Tasker Millward Upper School in Haverfordwest was in urgent need of increasing their catering capacity with minimal disruption and spend being a key factor.  The solution designed and created by RACS was a kiosk style catering facility complete with modern cooking appliances and a combination oven in particular, for serving large numbers of meals easily and quickly.  The unit was manufactured with fully welded 1.5mm mild steel corrugated side panels and 2.5mm thick mild steel corner posts. It has lockable personnel doors at either end and an electrically operated security shutter to open the main serving area.  The external is protected with a RAL colour finish selected by the client and the internal is fitted with Altro hygienic walls and non-slip flooring.  It is fully wired to an internal three phase electrical distribution unit with 30ltr capacity heater to provide plenty of hot water for hand and utensil washing.  From order confirmation, it was completed and transported to site  all within 10 weeks.  The only requirement of the client was to pre-arrange the necessary connections for water, drainage, electrical and data services.   The client and end users are exceptionally pleased with the end result!
