Swansea College Bistro

Within the neatly and ergonomically laid out kitchen are 2 microwaves, a deep fat fryer, 6 burner range, griddle, conveyor toaster, full ventilation systems, fridge and freezer as well as dish washing and waste facilities suitable for a café of this size. All benches and racking have been designed and supplied. The floor is clad in Altro D25, the ceiling in Altro Whiterock and the walls with Altro food safe cladding, all combining to provide a sealed and hygienic environment.

In the café itself, the servery counters contain facilities for both hot and refrigerated food display and serving, together with beverage dispensers and a till. The floor is wood strip, the walls are clad and mirrored, with a dado rail for effect. A single air conditioning cassette unit is set into the ceiling design. In addition to the supply and installation of the equipment, RACS undertook and managed all aspects of the work involved in the installation of this splendid facility within the College.
