Maintenance

RACS can provide local establishments within South Wales with comprehensive service and maintenance contracts for all kitchen equipment. The frequency of inspections and any necessary testing will depend on the type of equipment, how often it is used and the environment in which it is used. 

'Poor standards of maintenance are a major underlying cause of accidents in the catering industry...nearly two-thirds of accidents invesitgated in catering stem from maintenance in one way or another'.*

Our maintenance contracts are competitively priced and drawn up to reflect your operation - covering all of your catering and refrigeration equipment. These contracts will ensure that your equipment is well looked after, maintained to manufacturers' specifications and lasts for many years following the initial guarantee period. Our Gas Safe registered engineers can also provide full gas safety checks and gas safety soundness tests on your equipment.

Breakdown Service

In many instances, equipment fails at the most inconvenient moment. To cover against this eventuality, RACS offers emergency call outs - providing seven days a week break douwn service throughout the year. The service engineers assigned to this call-out service will answer calls and respond accordingly. We aim to swiftly restore normal operations in your kitchen and minimise down-time. Where manufacturer's spare parts are required and restoration cannot be achieved immediately, you will be kept informed of the situation at all times.
