Llangatwg Community School

VENUE: Llangatwg Community School serves the communities of the Neath and Dulais Valleys, together with the villages of Cilffriw and Cadoxton.   This forward looking school had extensive building work to provide the staff and pupils with outstanding facilities.   There are currently 772 pupils and 50 teachers.

OBJECTIVE:  The brief, directed by the Head Teacher, required the successful contractor to provide a new practical purpose built catering facility  for it’s pupils.

SOLUTION:  RACS translated the brief into a workable project consisting of individual preparation and cooking stations.  The resulting design was to provide fully visible supervision by teaching staff and facilitate an optimum learning environment.

OUTCOME:  “RACS have provided us with a superb teaching facility for our Catering / Food Technology  Department.  I was impressed by their professionalism and excellent service throughout.”
