Our History

An independent company was formed in 1988 by John Gibb a then highly skilled refrigeration and air conditioning engineer in Swansea.  His vision was to expand into the area’s largest company of its type servicing the catering and hospitality industries.  This new business called Refrigeration, Air-conditioning & Catering Services Ltd  today trades as RACS Ltd. 

RACS has indeed realised this vision having continually grown both in terms of business capacity and reputation and we are proud of this achievement. Our key customer groups cover both private and public sectors including hotels, restaurants, care homes, cafes, take-aways, hospitals, colleges, universities, pubs, churches, schools, art centres, etc. We operate from modern premises which boast offices, workshop and showroom facilities under the one roof.
